Neuro Clear

Background Check

Neuro Clear is a brain supplement made by the supplement manufacturer BioSynergy, which specializes in mostly herbal supplements spanning a wide variety of categories. Their shop has an assortment of different products, from anti-aging, to sexual health, to immune system support… basically, whatever you might need, you’ll be able to get from them. But more importantly, the products they offer are natural and herbal.

They have so many different products that you might even have a family member or friend using one of their products, so it might be a great idea to ask around if they have a discount code or two.

It’s a little hard to navigate around the website, but if you’re able to, there is a lot to be seen here. There’s just so much information available on the website, making it sort of like a supplement encyclopedia. While definitely not as flashy as some of the websites of newer brain supplements, you can expect to find detailed descriptions, FAQs, supplement facts, and even reviews on the very page containing information on Neuro Clear.

For those of you wondering, there are also multiple sources and links available if you would like to do some further research off the website (but we’re pretty sure the info provided is already extensive). Checking the “Health and Nutrition Tools”, there is also a lot of other useful information like Interactions, Dictionaries (for medical terms), and Recipes.

Overall, we’re pretty impressed as it seems like the people running BioSynergy actually know their stuff.

“NEURO CLEAR™ includes a synergistic combination of ingredients that
have been clinically demonstrated to improve memory and learning, improve mood,
reduce anxiety, and increase ability to cope with stress.”“NEURO CLEAR™ helps replenish and provide the nutrients needed for proper
brain function. All experiences in life are enhanced when the human brain is healthy
and functioning at its optimum level.”

As we can see, Neuro Clear’s list of ingredients is quite long, including some of the more potent high quality nootropics, and some less important multivitamins. Before we even get into the use of filler ingredients in brain supplements, we’d first like to point out and acknowledge the fact that despite the long list of ingredients, BioSynergy kept very transparent on the individual milligrams for each ingredient.

The formula itself reflects how many pills you need to take per day. As you know, you can only fit so much into one pill, so this means that with more ingredients, you’ll need to take more pills. This is the case with Neuro Clear as the daily serving comes to a cumbersome 4 per day.

The ingredients themselves seem to be really good. They’ve included the more potent nootropic superstars like Acetyl L-Carnitine, Phosphatidylserine, Ginkgo Biloba, L-Tyrosine, and a few others…

If we were to really finely critique the formula, however, we would suggest the removal of the first thirteen ingredients from the formula, just to allow more room for more of the good stuff, improving the overall potency of the formula. After all, most people take multivitamins daily already, so there would be no need to double up on that.

Key Ingredients:

Acetyl L-Carnitine: The “enhanced” version of Carnitine that not only aids in fat burn, but also offers benefits to the brain due to its ability to cross the brain-blood barrier. It aids in the production of acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter responsible for improving memory, learning, problem-solving ability, and general cognition.

L-Tyrosine: A multipurpose supplement that not only helps in cognitive enhancement, but also in stress relief and mood elevation. It’s highly potent and improves memory and heightens alertness, and has also been found to improve motivation levels upon continued use.

L-Glutamine: Perhaps the most versatile nutritional supplement today, L-Glutamine is a natural compound that primarily aids in cognition. L-Glutamine boosts the immune system, while increasing energy levels, making it a valuable supplement for athletes and those that need an extra boost of energy on some days. Glutamine also helps in the production of the neurotransmitters Glutamate and GABA, both of which play a key role in memory, reasoning skills, creativity, and even reaction times and problem solving ability.

Phosphatidylserine: A nootropic from soy that aids in the production of neurotransmitters in the brain. It aids in improving connectivity between neurons and brain cells, while also protecting the brain against aging and aged-related ailments. It’s shown positive effects for improving memory, reaction times, and clarity of thought.

Overall, a good formula, but one that could be a lot better with a few minor tweaks.

Effects and Benefits

We gave Neuro Clear all around the office to be tested for 30 days. Right off the bat, we could already feel the cocktail of ingredients working in our bodies. After just 20 minutes, we could feel a slight buzz, and we just generally felt motivated to do something… anything. Through boosting focus and clarity, Neuro Clear seemed to have improved our productivity slightly.

There were also some positive effects to memory. While not noticeable until around the third week, Neuro Clear seemed to make learning new things a lot easier, and therefore, a lot more enjoyable. Frank, for example, performed amazingly at a flashing cards test, being able to remember up to 12 different cards and in what order they came in. It seemed like we were able to just continually study more, while taking less time to actually learn. Joe, one of our junior writers, after just two weeks of studying, can tell you some basics on HTML coding and how it worked, as well as remembering a number of commands.

It seemed like Neuro Clear also made us slightly more tolerant to stress. It was easier to just keep doing work, amidst many imminent deadlines. We felt relaxed and calm, which I believe also helped us actually complete the work we needed to do!

Overall, Neuro Clear had some moderate success. The effects to focus and clarity were immediate and long-lasting, while improvements to memory and mood followed towards the second half of the test. All effects experienced were mostly pretty subtle though.

Potential Side Effects

Fortunately, none of us experienced any adverse side effects from Neuro Clear. This was actually a bit surprising, considering the amount of ingredients listed under its formula. Perhaps the worst thing that ever happened were some mild headaches and feelings of lethargy on some evenings. Then again, these were rare occurrences and may have been caused by a number of factors. In any case, if you experience any complications, please discontinue taking Neuro Clear for at least a few days.

We also advise you to keep yourself well-hydrated while on Neuro Clear, as some nootropics can cause dehydration if you aren’t drinking adequate amounts of water.

Pricing Options

A bottle of Neuro Clear costs $44.95 for a bottle of 120 capsules. At the recommended daily serving of 4 a day, that should last you for an entire month. There are no other pricing options available, but it might be worth it to check for discounts elsewhere.

Overall, Neuro Clear is of pretty good value for its price. While it’s not as potent as some other brain supplements out there, it’s also relatively cheaper. Neuro Clear might be a good option for those looking to save some money or are just beginners (to not be overwhelmed by the effects of more potent brain supplements).

Online Reviews

There are quite a lot of reviews on Neuro Clear online, but for the most part, you will see more expert reviews than user reviews. We believe this is due to the fact that there isn’t really a platform for users to go and review the product. If they were to review it negatively, surely those wouldn’t appear on BioSynergy’s website.

Expert Review by Supplementcritique.com

Based on customer reviews of Neuro Clear and studies performed on some of the ingredients, we can safely say that Neuro Clear is a good product that will most certainly be of some benefit to most people. The degree of that benefit really depends on each individual’s response. With the solid reputation of the company and the money back guarantee, we’d say Neuro Clear is definitely one to try.

Expert Review by Brainpilladvisor.com

Neuro Clear only found favorable results from 3 out of 10 of the participants in the study. We attribute this lack of effectiveness to the fact that Neuro Clear has over 30 ingredients in it. This means that the quantities of each are far too small. We calculated that people would have to take 10 of these per day to see positive results. To be honest, that doesn’t really do any justice to it. Neuro Clear had an interesting concept of trying to be a supervitamin, but it fell short. It might just work if it were split into 3 or 4 different supplements, but as a whole, Neuro Clear is lacking.

RECAP:

Positives

  • Slight boosts to memory, mood, and focus
  • Contains a few high quality nootropics
  • From a reputable company that produces many other supplements

Negative

  • Absurd amount of ingredients
  • Not available through online retailers
  • Lack of negative customer reviews (seems sketchy)
  • Contains some filler ingredients

Our Verdict

One of the best things about ordering from a well-established company like BioSynergy is that you have an assurance for quality. You know that their manufacturing processes are done without a hitch and that there are normally no problems with shipping. They even point this out on their website that all their ingredients have been screened through a 50-point process. That is just invaluable.

The formula itself, however, doesn’t seem to be able to hold its own amongst some of the more popular brain pills out there. It’s filled with so much filler ingredients that should really have no place in a brain pill as they don’t have anything to do for the brain. The actual nootropic ingredients used are of pretty high quality, but we still would have liked if the formula was just a little bit more potent.

This translated directly into the effects we got from Neuro Clear. While we got some positive results for memory, mood, and focus, we just couldn’t help but feel that they were a little toned down. It was as if Neuro Clear was a lite version of a more expensive brain supplement. Fortunately though, despite the long list of ingredients, we did not experience any side effects – save for a headache or two.

That might be the best way to describe Neuro Clear – lite. Jam-packed with so many ingredients, it’s not as potent as it could have been… but at the same time, it’s also not as expensive at it could have been at $45 for a month’s supply. Overall, this might be a great option if you’re new to the world of brain enhancement or are short on cash, otherwise, stay clear of Neuro Clear.

Your Complete, Personalized Guide

In such a busy, harried world, people look for all the help they can get.

They’ve got problems remembering things, concentrating in school or focusing on a big work project, or being in the best energy and mood level for family and their personal goals.

Nootropics - also known as “smart pills” and brain enhancement supplements - are designed to help address these cognitive issues and improve memory and learning, focus and concentration, problem solving, and overall energy and vibrancy. These supplements are a potential fit for students (usually college students), professionals and business executives, and the elderly who want to enhance their brain power and performance.

How Do Nootropics Work?

Known by many different names, nootropics act as brain enhancement aids and brain boosters that don’t leave your cognitive wellness to fate.

There are two kinds of nootropics: (1) pharmaceutical cognitive enhancers made up of chemicals believed to have a clear effect on the brain and nervous system, and (2) natural cognitive enhancers, which are mostly herbal or nutrient-based in their composition. Our reviews focus on the second group, which don’t require a prescription, not considered drugs, and thus are allowed to be sold the counter and online via vitamin retail shops like Amazon.

Are natural nootropics actually the savior they’re painted to be?

These plant-based extracts promise improved mental functioning, no less. Their surging popularity, particularly in recent years, can be attributed to their high overall safety value and few and minor side effects compared with their pharmaceutical counterparts.

If you’ve heard of the term “nootropic stack,” it means different herbal or nutrient-based nootropics “stacked” together to achieve your own cognitive targets.

Types of Natural Nootropics

  1. Neurotransmitter enhancers - These increase the activity of brain chemicals responsible for mental sharpness. Examples are acetylcholine, and other neurotransmitters.
  2. Vasodilators - Boost blood flow to the brain via widening the blood vessels.
  3. Antioxidants - Preserve and protect brain cells from the damage caused by free radicals roaming in the body

A high-quality nootropic can change your brain wellness and make you limitless in many different ways. These include enhanced memory, increased attention to detail, outrageously good focus, increased alertness, better mental and visual acuity, improved learning and thinking, managed stress, better mood and energy, and a generally renewed sense of life and brain performance.

This is why this product review guide will help you in so many ways to know a nootropic inside and out. From the ABCs of the product formula to the overall verdict, you will have an informed choice of what to choose for your next nootropic bottle or product.

What Should You Look For In A Top-Rated Nootropic?

  1. Offers essential vitamins and nutrients - Your brain gobbles up an unbelievable amount of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and nutrients for it to properly function for life’s everyday demands. The nootropic you deserve provides these crucial components and more. Ginkgo biloba, Bacopa monnieri, Panax ginseng, and more - the list is endless, but only a few good ones deserve your attention. Click here for the top-rated ingredient list for a smart pill.

  2. Backed by clinical data and experts - The best nootropics have a solid scientific basis through independent, third-party research data on their effectiveness and benefits.

There’s no reason for a credible health care expert not to endorse a well-created supplement for brain enhancement.

  3. Superior manufacturing standards - It’s not just about the ingredients, but also creating the product with the highest standards of production. The best supplements are manufactured in the United States, in a laboratory registered by the FDA. The manufacturer should be GMP certified as well!

  4. Independent reviews (Not just Amazon!) - Reviews can be bought and unverified, so keep an eye out for them. Our reviews, for instance, maintain their independence through a circle of product testers that really get to the bottom of things and assess individual product performance and quality.

What Should You Avoid In A Brain Enhancement Supplement?

  1. Improper dosage - Incorrect levels of each active ingredient - yikes! This leads you to believe that you’re getting optimum value and not the cheaper, over-hyped product that it actually is.

  2. Insufficient return policy and fraud - Reputablecompanies offer 100% money-back guarantee since they are confident enough that their product works. Read the fine print and don’t just trust what you see on the surface.

  3. “Free trial” offers - Does it seem too good to be true? Then it probably is. If you have to enter your credit card details to get to try a product for a month for free, then it’s not free.

Let’s combine your due diligence in research and our honest, in-your-face product reviews that won’t leave you guessing and wanting more information.
